Managing content security is important at every level. In addition to site, subsite, template, page, and content-object security, CommonSpot allows you to manage rights at the form field level. This highly granular control helps you to improve workflow and productivity and protect sensitive information by making it easy to show/hide fields as needed. Sites can effectively "redact" specific fields for groups or individuals, while making them available to others. You can also create reports using or excluding secure field criteria.

Any content creator can assign show/hide or edit attributes to fields within simple forms, metadata forms, or custom content objects. You can apply security to any of the more than two dozen standard field types, as well as custom fields developed for your site.

  • Easily enable security for one or more individual fields in simple forms, metadata forms, or custom content objects.
  • Explicitly assign group or individual read or edit rights.
  • Apply read or edit rights to any of the more than two dozen CommonSpot standard fields, or add security to custom fields.
  • Create reports that include/exclude secure field criteria.
